WHAT TO EXPECT
You will experience a deep, comfortable warming sensation, especially during the intraoral step. The surface resurfacing step feels like a quick, hot tingling sensation. Numbing cream is optional but rarely required.
PRE-TREATMENT
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning beds for 4 weeks prior.
Stop use of Retinol, Retin-A, AHA/BHA, or chemical exfoliants 7 days before.
If prone to cold sores, consult your provider for prophylactic antiviral medication starting 24 hours prior.
AFTER CARE
Keep skin deeply hydrated with a gentle, non-irritating moisturizer.
Apply mineral-based SPF 50 daily and avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7 days.
Do not pick, scrub, or exfoliate any flaking skin; allow it to shed naturally.
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for 24–48 hours.
